Koodoo
Friday, September 5th, 2008Koodoo is a great little graphic illustration magazine from David Hughes. Whilst its not street art, the work inside it is beatiful and has really impressed me. Best thing of all though, its 100% free. Issue 1 is titled consoles and features work based around games consoles (believe it or not).

David says:
The mag features various illustrations of consoles both old and new but it’s primary focus is people, and especially the way in which they interact with and are affected by the games and consoles they play. Most of the inspiration for the work contained within the mag is based on personal experience and my own observations. You can see a few spreads above.
As I’m such a generous guy the mag will be available forĀ FREE! The initial run will be limited to 100 copies and the first 50 people to request one will also receive an additional gift in the form of a Koodoo button badge. Each copy will be hand made (hence the very limited numbers), and be printed using a single colour (visually striking and also cheap to print!). I plan to create between 5-10 issues each with its own unique theme and colour.
So check out the site and give some support to this awesome magazine.
