Flickr of the Week #16

Monday, October 20th, 2008

I’m really happy that I found this guy on flickr this week. He’s another freehand character artist - I love his characters. He goes by the name of Farm and is a member of CSK (The Countryside Krew). He has a very cool style which I find very refreshing.

Deac4

Deac4’s characters are inspiring. The piece, photographed below, has really impressed me and made me take note of Deac4’s ability. Entitled ‘Queen of Pain’ it looks very deep with meaning, cold and sombre.

Deac4 is definitely a free hand artist to keep your eyes and ears open for in the future.

Who

Saturday, August 9th, 2008

There are three boxes that, if ticked, make a piece of street art a definite winner for me: big, clean, characters. Stick these things together and I’m pretty much going to like whatever you throw at me, even if its just because I appreciate the skill involved in such a design. There’s one such artist that seems to deliver this time after time. His name is Who.

Below are some of his white blue afro floating heads which are definately a crowd pleaser. Make sure to check out the rest of his art on his flickr.
