Cancer Sell Online Shop

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

Cancer Sell, as we have mentioned on the website before, was an art auction featuring work from many of the big name street artists who donated their work to raise money for Cancer Research and Florence Nightingale Hospice. Unfortunately, not all the artwork was sold but every cloud has its silver lining. The unsold artwork has been put online for anyone to buy, if you weren’t able to make it to the event this is a perfect opportunity for you to pick up some awesome work. And remember, 100% of the money goes to the mentioned charities.

Charity Walk

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Leading on from my post yesterday about Cancer Sell charity auction, the guys at Graffoto are doing a tour of the street art in East London to raise money for the cause.

Cancer Sell Tour

The event only costs £5 and 100% of that goes to Cancer Sell.

HowAboutNo! and HowAboutNo! and NoLionsInEngland plan to take a group of 20 people around the streets of East London and show some of the finest work located there. Along the way they will be providing commentary about the artwork and the artists. They also help to explain some of the problems artists have trying to complete their masterpieces.

This is an unmissable event for an incredible cause.

Cancer Sell

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Cancer Sell is a fantastic project to be involved with and a lot of people are involved in it. Cancer Sell is auctioning items given to them by a massive range of artists. The money raised is all for a very worth while cause - Cancer Research and The Florence Nightingale Hospice, Aylesbury, Bucks, UK.

James Cauty

A top London gallery will be presenting an exhibition by young progressive artists who represent a multitude of talents in the urban street art scene. All art has been generously donated by artists to help raised monies for the charities. CANCER SELL has also been created to help progressive global urban street artists to form a connection between local people by allowing them to display their chosen donation in a formal display setting.

The fantastic range of items includes work from such artists as Snub 23, last weeks FOTW - Hutch, James Cauty and many many more.

I urge everyone who reads this to help this great cause in some way or another, even if its just passing on the message to those who are unaware.

The event will be held on 31st July at 98 Leonard Street, London and entry is free.
