Flickr of the week #24!

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

Ladies and gentlemen. I would like to inform you that Flickr of the Week has made a comeback!

Yes, that’s right! While it never officially left, I think I’ve been a little *cough* lax in posting them. Anyways, it has returned, and should be here for a while!

To mark it’s return, I have also added a thread in the forums where suggestions can be submitted (link is here), or you can submit in the normal way, via the contact form.

Anyways, this week’s Flickr of the week is .FAKE.!

Heres some pics from it:

Keep submitting!

Hutch Interview

Wednesday, January 14th, 2009

The street art world is full of large ego’s that produce work with expensive price tags. UK artist Hutch is not one of those artists however. Alongside those large ego’s are artists that I think are hugely overated. Hutch is not one of those either, in fact I don’t think he gets the credit he deserves. His work on the streets of London and Brighton is thought provoking and riddled with meaning. Hutch has put down his scalpel and stencils to answer a few questions for us.

Fark FK Interview

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

Fark FK is a stencil artist from the United Kingdom who recently appeared in our 20 Artists to watch in 2009! series of posts. His art is always clean and creative. His iconic characters are an inspiration to many budding artists. Fark FK has really impressed myself and many other street artists and fans over the last couple years and I’m sure thats not going to stop soon. Fark often gets up with amazing artists such as Snub and Orticanoodles, so it’s not a surprise to see Fark getting regular media attention.
