Concrete Canvas is a website created to boost exposure of artists in a faboulously creative underworld.

Created in June 2008 and launched on July 1st 2008, Concrete Canvas is set to rock the foundations of online street art throughout the remainder of 2008 and carry it into the future.

Concrete Canvas currently has a team of four street artists who want to document the ever changing world of street art - whether it’s new artists coming and going or fashions within street art.

The site was created for street artists to learn more about other artists and also people wanting to know and understand more about the street art ideal.

Events

In August 2008, after the successful launch of the main website the Concrete Canvas forum launched and an active and talented community was created.

Later in August 2008 the Concrete Canvas Charity T-shirt competition first launched raising money for Cancer Research. The t-shirts were produced in September 2008 with inkJoy and FAKE’s design getting produced. The Concrete Canvas shop was opened to sell the shirts.

October 2008 saw Concrete Canvas joining forces with Cromatics to bring together a sticker competition. The competition is still going and the winner will receive 1000 slaps of their design.
